Mornington Peninsula National Park

If you are in Melbourne and looking for a day trip hike I highly recommend visiting the Mornington Peninsula National Park. The national park is about an hour and 20 minutes from the CBD and full of walking trails. On the weekend, I hiked along the Bushrangers Bay Walking Track – an easy 5.2km round trip with a beautiful beach at the end of the trail.

Having been in lockdown for most of 2020 I have really enjoyed the freedom of exploring what our state and regional areas have to offer and Mornington Peninsula is full of activities and beautiful nature.

I’d love to know in the comments where you have been exploring in a covid world?

  1. I’ve been to Mornington Peninsula on previous trips to Australia. It’s a lovely spot. During lockdown, like you, we’ve been exploring closer to home and falling in love all over again with where we live.
