Next stop – San Sebastian!
I was unsure of what to expect from San Sebastian but what I can take away from it is that it is a quiet resort town. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax the day away, this is the place for you.
One thing I can say is that the food in San San Sebastian is endless. They have Pintxos, which essentially is small snacks that are displayed on the bar which you can choose from. My favourite part of Pintxos were the hot plates that you could order. One little tip – check your bill, we were overcharged quite a few times when having Pintxos!
If you’re staying in San Sebastian for some time, you can get a bit over Pintxos. If you do, I recommend heading to Sakona for brunch, and La Jarana for a fancy lunch or dinner. Of course you have to finish off the day (or start the day) with churros at Santa Lucia – the most delicious churros you will ever have!
We spent an afternoon climbing up the Mount Urgull which was definitely a good little workout after having spent the last few days eating. Make sure to take little detours on the walk. We took our time and went to many of the little lookouts along the way. It’s a great way to see a beautiful view of the whole of San Sebastian. Take a bottle of water with you!
Every night, we ended up at the Constitution Square for drinks. The Square has a very interesting history which immediately catches your eye. There are numbers above each of the windows of the rooms facing the Square which used to be used for bullfighting. While it is not used for bullfighting anymore, they have been left as a part of history. Now, the Square has a great relaxed atmosphere where people come for dinner and drinks – and I definitely had my fill of piña coladas!

Oh, You’ve been to the Kingdom of Pintxos; Constitution square in San Sebastian. We tried at least 10 of the bars. And also in Bilbao We were also lucky to see a festival.
