Highlights of the Met Gala

Celebrities bring their A game for the Met Gala and they definitely didn’t disappoint this year. The theme for this year’s gala was ‘Manus x Machina: Fashion in the age of technology’ which inspired some amazing looks. Here were just a few of my favourites!

Poppy Delevingne’s plunging Marchesa dress looked stunning at the gala. The fringed dress had a 20’s flappers feel and the matching choker and necklace pulled the look together perfectly. Her blonde hair and dark makeup elevated the look to a whole other level!

Clare Danes’ light up Zac Posen dress was a really cool idea for the theme and looked absolutely beautiful on her, with and without the lights on.

Zoe Kravitz’s perfectly weird outfit had to get a mention. Her fluffy shoes, wings and a mask somehow worked together to achieve this incredibly mysterious look.

I had to include Emma Watson’s Calvin Klein dress due to the sheer innovation of it. It was made using recycled plastic bottles, organic silk and cotton, definitely sticking to the technology theme while looking stunning as always.

I always love Kendall’s style and she killed it at the gala. The simple silhouette, cut outs and mosaic print was a perfect choice for her. The slicked back hair shows off the dress and she’s kept her signature casual/boho style while classing it up in this Atelier Versace dress.

Karolina Kurkova’s Marchesa dress was hands down my favourite of the night. Not only did she look absolutely flawless, the dress stuck to the theme in a really interesting way. The dress was made using artificial intelligence, incorporating LED lights into the flower embroidery.

For a look at all the dresses on the night head to Harpers Bazaar!
