Verona | Italy

I took a little day trip to Verona and it was lovely to explore another smaller town in Italy. I took the Italo train from Florence which only took 1.5 hours – very easy for a day trip!

The town itself is beautiful to walk through and is lined with old buildings and cyprus trees which I love.

We of course had to check out Juliet’s balcony. It was crazy busy but worth seeing for a few minutes!

We also went to Castlevecchio, a historic castle dating back to the Middle Ages. It had a beautiful garden and museum you could wander through.

If you want to see views of the whole of Verona I would also recommend heading up to Piazzale Castel San Pietro. You can get there either by tram or walking up the stairs.

Verona is full of history and is a lovely place to visit for a day.
