Sydney is basically like my second home so I never think to take pictures when I go but this time around I thought that I would!
I spent a quick weekend in sunny Sydney and took a few snaps of what I got up to and here they are!
We went to one of my favourite beaches in Sydney – Balmoral Beach. If you’re looking for a nice, family friendly beach but don’t want to have to deal with the tourist crowds of Manly or Bondi, it’s a great beach to head to. There are great cafes along the street and lots of places to lie in the sun!
The best place to go for breakfast at Balmoral would definitely be the Boathouse Cafe. You can sit right on the water with beautiful views of the boats and they have a great selection of food and drinks – my favourite was my ice latte, it was amazing!
On Sunday, I went to a couple of street markets – this pic was taken at the Fitzroy Garden market which is just a small market with some cute jewellery, food and clothes stalls.
I was also lucky enough to be around for the annual Glebe Street Fair which was a massive market with live music, food, jewellery and clothing stalls. Luckily it was a beautiful day in Sydney and the Fair was absolutely packed!
If you love Japanese food, you have to go to Toko on Crown Street, Surrey Hills. I went to a dinner event at Toko on Saturday night and it was phenomenal. My favourites had to be the salmon tartare and sashimi. It’s definitely on the more pricey side but I highly recommend giving it a go!
I hope you enjoyed the snaps from my quick weekend getaway!

I always go to Balmoral! you’ve really encapsulated the beach in a way that’s super aesthetic. Keen to start following you x
