September Favourites

Laura Mercier

I have been on the hunt for a super light coverage foundation to wear when I want a bit more coverage than just my daily powder and I have finally found the perfect one! I am absolutely in love with my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser – Oil Free. It literally feels like nothing on the skin (I hate feeling like I’m wearing makeup), makes your skin look beautiful and is very long lasting!

I bought the Translucent Loose Setting Powder at the same time and while it took some getting used to, I now love it. I learnt through trial and error that only the slightest amount of powder is necessary otherwise it leaves a white cast!

Allday Concert and Jumper

Allday is an amazing Australian rapper and one of my all time favourite artists. He toured this month and it was phenomenal! I saw him earlier this year at a festival where he had a shorter set so it was great to see him doing a full length show. Not only was his concert amazing, I bought his tour sweatshirt which is the most comfortable jumper of my life and I have been wearing it non-stop. And to top it all off, my friends and I ran into him outside after the show!

Mount Ninji and Da Nice Time Kid by Die Antwoord

Die Antwoord have release a lot of new music in the past few months with their mixtape Suck On This being released in May and 4th album Mount Ninji and Da Nice Time Kid released in September. Their new album has to be the weirdest of them all and I’m loving it! I definitely get freak show vibes with songs like Rats Rule and many songs have an American sound, with influences coming from living in LA and working with DJ Muggs from Cyprus Hill. I have loved listening to this album from start to finish many times!

TV: American Horror Story and Scream Queens

Two of my favourite TV shows are finally back on! Season 6 of American Horror Story is shaping up to be a really good one, I was hooked after the first episode! If you like really good horror/thriller/suspense shows, AHS is for you!

Scream Queens on the other hand is more of a comedy/horror show. This season features actors like John Stamos and Taylor Lautner, joining an already fabulous cast for a killer season, now set in a hospital.

Mesh

I have been crazy about mesh anything for a couple months now and I have worn these two latest purchases all month and I’m still loving them. Again, they are from my favourite brand The Ragged Priest. I feel like I never stop talking about them but I can’t help it!
