1. Markets, warehouse sales and thrift stores
One of the best ways to get inspiration for your wardrobe is to look inside others. You can find vintage gems and one offs at markets and thrift stores which you never would have found or bought otherwise. Warehouse sales are also a great way to get inspiration. Looking at brands you may not have heard of can open your eyes to a whole new style!
2. Online stores
Online stores are a perfect way to get ideas about how to wear and mix up your existing item and of course, find new clothes to buy! My current favourite online stores are NA-KD, Her Pony and Market HQ.
3. Runway
Runways are another great source of inspiration to see what patterns and styles are popular at the moment. You can find runway trends anywhere online, fashion magazines and of course, runway shows! Melbourne has free runway shows running a few times a year which are always fun to go to!
4. Social media
Instagram, bloggers and youtubers are a great source of inspiration for me. Not only can you see the fashion in other countries, but you can see how different people style certain items and find new brands.
5. On the street
The last and probably best way to get inspiration is just to look at the street. I love going to certain areas where I know I’ll see some interesting outfits to get ideas!
